Professor Godwin Iornenge Akper was born on 19th day of July 1969 to Late Evangelist Daniel Iorvihi Akper (aka Katsina) and Rebecca Ade Iorvihi Akper of Mbagen, Mbateva Mbatyough in Buruku Local Govt. Area of Benue State. He is married to Eunice Mbapasen Akper (Nee Avungu). They are blessed with Rachel (born 14/9/2000) and Daniel Akper (born 23/12/2001). Prof. Akper appreciates honesty, good scholarship, working as a calling, golfing, critical dialogue and preserving the future of the society through building solid systems in organizations. He hates hypocrisy and sycophancy.
